Sturt duo drafted

The Sturt Football Club congratulates both Brad McKenzie and Chad Wingard on being selected in the NAB national draft.

As expected Chad was selected at pick 6 by Port Adelaide while Brad was taken at pick 18 by North Melbourne.

Congratulations to both players, we wish them every success in their futture careers.  

In other recruiting news, the club is pleased to announce the signing of Paul Cahil, Daniel Boyle and Damian Littler. 

Paul returns to the club after 3 years at St Kilda after being drafted in 2009.  

Daniel is a highly skilled half back flanker who was captain of Wangaratta in 2011.

Damian has been recruited from Norwood where he played 24 league games. He is a midfielder/defender with a good left foot kick.
