The Sturt Football Club is pleased to announce that the Castle Tavern Bottle-O has been voted the best in South Australia.
The Bottle-O Castle Tavern is situated in the very busy shopping precinct of the Castle Plaza adjacent to the major arterial road, South Road at Edwardstown. Standing out like a beacon within the complex with the Bottle-O livery, they have been a valued member since the inception of the Bottle-O brand.
Hotel Manager of eleven years, Simon Bastock and Drive In Manager Greg Glascock (6 years) believe that the Castle Tavern lives the ethos of the Bottle-O “Real Locals, Real Value.” Simon stated that “since the sub lease was acquired by the Sturt Football Club in November 2006 that the tavern has prided itself in providing exceptional local community support with the Ascot Park and Edwarstown Bowling Clubs being just some of the beneficiaries”
Greg is also a very valuable member of the Bottle-O promotional committee and runs a very slick drive in operation.
